President Picks

Choosing the perfect vacation destination can be daunting. We get it. With thousands of choices available on the Sundance Vacations website, you may be asking yourself, “Where do I start?”

These are the personal picks from our President!

Kuleana Club, Maui, HI

Why I like it? "Have you been to Maui? It's amazing and is consistently named the world's best island. The weather is warm year round and Maui has more miles of swimmable beaches than any other island in Hawaii. You can also find white, black, and even red sand beaches there. While visiting Maui, check out Haleakala Crater, where you can stand atop the 10,023 ft. summit and watch the sunrise like you've never seen it before."

King's Creek Plantation, Williamsburg, VA

Why I like it? “Fantastic amenity filled resort near the first colony in America. You’ll be tempted to fill your schedule, but this resort has so much southern charm and hospitality, so be sure to allow plenty of time to just enjoy the property. Gorgeous swimming pools, indoor aquatics, tennis, plus all the little extras you would expect of an up-scale vacation. The area activities are top notch when you finally emerge from your quaint cottage and comfortable porch. Family members of every age will enjoy the historic sites of Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestowne Settlement. Costumed interpreters and hands on activities will engage your kids in history, but more advanced discussions will also pique the interest of adults. One- or Two-Bedroom units. 45-minute day trip to VA Beach.”

Wyndham Grand Desert, Las Vegas, NV

Why I like it? “Quiet desert oasis in the middle of Vegas. Lush greenery and palm trees surround multiple pools with thick, comfortable chaises perfect for an afternoon nap. The property offers shuttle transportation if you want to people watch on the famous Vegas strip. Spacious, spectacular accommodations, modern construction.”

Woodfield Manor, Poconos, PA

Why I like it? “When you’re here- you’re family. Outstanding staff and service will keep you coming back year after year. Rustic mountain charm of a boutique resort coupled with fine hotel comforts. Cottages with fireplaces and historic stagecoach inn. Top rated onsite restaurant; Frogtown Chophouse. Near all the best activities of the Poconos including Camelback ski area, outlet shopping mall, indoor and outdoor water parks, world class golf courses, and Mt. Airy casino.”

Myrtle Beach Resort, SC

Why I like it? “Perfect beach vacation. Period. Beach front resort with an oceanfront pool, onsite tiki bar and lazy river. Amenities, Amenities, Amenities. This resort has them all. 3 outdoor and 2 indoor pools. No concrete jungle here. This resort combines the perfect amount of shade trees and landscaping to ease the heat. If you can tear yourself from your beach chair, Myrtle Beach is also the golf capital of the world.”

Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, FL

Why I like it? “This property is just steps to the sparkling, white sands of iconic Ft. Lauderdale beach. Spend lazy days parked in a chair listening to the waves lap at the shore, then stroll the beachfront promenade for easy access to restaurants, bars, and shopping. While the condos all offer kitchens the nearby nightlife and world class dining options are too good to pass up. Try the speakeasy called Stache. Did I mention the views from every room?

Sunset Royal Beach Resort, Cancun

Why I like it? “Pristine property located beach front in the Zona Tourista. I highly recommend our all-inclusive option for just $49/ per person per day. It includes all food and drink. It even includes room service meals or lunch served to your beach chair! This property is everything you would expect in a luxury beach vacation; sparkling pools, abundant seating, views of the spectacular turquoise blue ocean stretching out in front of you.”

Silver Lakes Resort

Silver Lake Resort, Kissimmee, FL

Why I like it? “This well-manicured property is located just outside of the Disney parks. Disney will lose its magic if you require little kids to be in the park from open till close. Our family always made a point to be onsite for park opening, return to the condo in the afternoon for a rest, a swim or some non-park food. Then return to the park in the evening for fireworks and parades. Silver Lake is perfectly positioned for a split day. The resort offers both one- and two-bedroom units.”
