 Scott Carey, Communications DirectorScott Carey graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from King's College, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Before graduating in May 2009, Scott began specializing in the world of internet marketing when he was hired by a local e-commerce company in Dallas, PA. While working for the e-commerce company, Scott gained experience in the many different aspects of the online world. Scott began in corporate marketing working on marketing plans, webinar productions and was a copywriter for many on and offline advertisements. From the corporate division, Scott moved on to the internet marketing department, where he gained the majority of his experience in search engine optimization, affiliate marketing, social media and pay-per-click marketing.
With experience in both online and corporate divisions, Scott came to Sundance Vacations to combine both as our Communications Director. As the Communications Director, Scott is responsible for the creation, development and maintenance of Sundance Vacations communications and online marketing initiatives. He oversees reputation monitoring tools and the entire social media management operation. In addition to spearheading the company’s social media efforts, Scott manages a variety of other projects including the creation of the company’s monthly internal newsletter – The Owl; writes and distributes press releases; updates search engine optimized content to the company’s websites via CMS; maintains and analyzes Google Analytics; manages pay-per-click advertising initiatives specifically on Google Adwords; company photography/photo editing; and manages the Intranet. Scott advises Sundance Vacations on digital online strategies and methods for achieving greater impact on the web.
Scott is a certified Google Adwords professional and is a certified Hubspot Internet Marketing professional.
