Mike Milillo | Vice President of Sales

Mike Milillo, VP of Sales at Sundance Vacations started with the wholesale vacation company in 1995 with a lifetime of sales experience. Mike earned several sales awards as a young professional. His management talents were recognized very quickly. He was quickly promoted to a staff manager position at a large sales organization in the Poconos. Mike easily excelled with his staff of 25 (including protégé’ John Dowd) and was promoted again to Sales Manager of one of the largest vacation ownership sales companies operating in the 80’s. Mike’s ascent to the sales manager position left the staff manager position vacant for his protégé’. (see also John Dowd’s bio).

Mike developed the skills of many sales staff during his career but takes pride in his careful development of two young college students; John and Tina Dowd.

Several years later, the Dowd’s would start a new travel business and wanting to surround themselves with the most talented staff immediately turned to their former mentor as one of their first employees. Mike and his wife Sandra opened the first Sundance Vacations office in Parsippany, New Jersey in January 1996. Sales flourished under Mike’s direction leading to a rapid national expansion that continues today. As VP of Sales, Mike oversees seven national sales locations and several on-site sales operations.

Mike was born and raised in the Marine Park section of Brooklyn NY, where he attended James Madison High School. In his spare time Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Sandra and their son Michael. Mike also enjoys salt water fishing and baseball.
