Sundance Vacations Reputation: Joe Moltoris Delivers Quality Expertise

Joe was born in Nanticoke, PA, many more years ago than he would like to count. His parents, Joe and Anita, were a high school teacher and a state employee who doubled as a union executive. From them, he developed his skill for following the rules and his ability to negotiate. His family then moved to Central Pennsylvania, specifically Selinsgrove. Here is where he grew into a “brainy jock,” being that he was a three-sport athlete (basketball, football and track). Joe was also a class officer and an active member of the National Honor Society. Joe spent two years at Dickinson College, but soon transferred to Lock Haven State College, where he convinced a beautiful lady, Linda Hess, to become his wife. He graduated with a degree in secondary education and found a teaching opportunity at Berwick Middle School. After teaching for a few years, Joe soon sought a different career path and found himself at Butcher and Singer, a stock brokerage and municipal bond house in Philadelphia. Soon after, he was recruited by Shearson Loeb Rhoades. After the stock market crash, Joe decided to leave the industry. In 1997, Joe interviewed with a small marketing company outside of Wilkes-Barre. “As the story goes, John Dowd called my home to set up a second interview. My wife Linda answered and informed John I was “on the tractor” and I would have to call him back. I have five plus mowable acres at my home in Schwenksville, PA and the time on my garden tractor is therapy. I must say that is was one of the finest days of my life when the Dowd’s decided to give this “tractor jockey” a chance.” Joe joined the Dowd Marketing family, now Sundance Vacations in 1997 and the rest is history. Family is a constant in Joe’s life. Mr. Molitoris and his wife Linda were blessed with two lovely daughters, Elizabeth and Emily. Elizabeth graduated from Bloomsburg University and is currently working in the marketing field in Philadelphia. Emily is a recent high school graduate and plans to attend Philadelphia University in pursuits of studying architecture.
