Sundance Vacations Reputation: Christina Allen Provides 15 Years of Excellence

Christina Allen graduated from Meyer’s High School in 1991. Not looking for any particular career path, she stumbled upon a classified ad that read, “Appointment Setters needed.” Thinking this would be the perfect summer job she happily joined the Sundance Vacations team. Right from the beginning, she was interested in learning more about the company and hoped that she could grow alongside of the business. Her first position was as a part time marketer. After showing a lot of potential, she was moved into the phone room and soon proved that she was one of the top telemarketers. Soon after, she was promoted to the inbound section and started answering calls instead of making them. While working for Sundance Vacations, Christina began working part-time for the Arthritis Foundation. After two years, she left the Arthritis Foundation and continued with Sundance Vacations as the phone room manager. After proving herself as a great leader, she was asked to run a small department called the referral program. As a new mother, Christina jumped on the chance to work day shifts and took the position of Inbound Manager. After jumping from position to position over the years, Christina has found her home as manager of the VIP program. Christina has proven to be a great asset to the company, and received an award for 15 years of excellent service for Sundance Vacations in December of 2007.

Christina was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY with her four sisters and two brothers. She and her family moved to Wilkes-Barre when she was 13 years old. Today, Christina resides in Wilkes-Barre with her husband Jimmy and daughter Courtney.
